ABSTRACT : Technology has undoubtedly changed every aspects of ourlives and in no industry is that more evident than the field ofmedicine. Over times machine began to play a larger role in the fieldof anaesthesiology and critical care. But a machine manufactured bydifferent company differ in many way—quality ,extrafeature, maintenance cost, electricity consumption, safety measure etc.End user faces difficulty with a poor quality machine. Hence weconducted this study to asses awareness regarding this amonganaesthesiologist.

METHODS : Approximately all working anaesthesiologist of our state asked some questionarie.Like-1.How to submit requirement requisition?2.How togive specification of an anaesthesia machine, ventilator, infusionpump, defibrillator ,monitor, suction machine etc?3.W hat important points youwill stress for selection of a good machine?4What is ISO/CE/GMP certification?5.What is DGFT CERTIFICATE? etc The answers analysed.

RESULTS : 80-90% are not knowing properly. Juniors are more.

CONCLUSIONS : Most OF THE WORKING ANAESTHESIOLOGIST ARE NOT KNOWING THE PROCESS OFPURCHASING GOOD QUALITY MACHINE but they blame the authority for that. Of course corruption is there in the process.
