ABSTRACT :

TO recognise and treat the acute event of reperfusion injury which is increasing in incidence.

METHODS :

A CASE STUDY 61 yr old male of peripheral vascular disease in 2014 year at krishna institute of medical sciences

RESULTS :

prompt diagnosis and treatment stops the phenomenon and prevents reperfusion injury proceeding to irreversible damage .patient in the above scenario was discharged with stable vitals

CONCLUSIONS :

REFERFUSION INJURY IN CARDIAC SURGERIES IS noted widely and BUT IN PERIPHERAL VASCULAR the incidence even though rare is increasing dramatically so,i would like to conclude to diagnose immediately and follow preventive stratagies like preconditioning to target the acute event and save lifes.
