Anaesthetic Management of a Case of Thymoma

ABSTRACT : Anesthetic Management Of Thymoma
ABSTRACT: A male patient of age 52 years presented with chief complaints of upper abdominal pain since 2 months which is continuos and dull in nature,cough since 1 month associated with shortness of breath nyha grade-ii, ct scan revealed a mediastinal mass measuring approximately 4*2.75cms on the right likely of thymic origin which was abbuting the superior vena cava. Patient induced with inhalational anaesthetic and short acting muscle relaxant and intubated with 7.5 flexometallic tube. Perioperative period was uneventful.
METHODS : Patient Induced with Inhalational Anaesthetic and Short Acting Muscle Relaxant and Intubated with 7.5 Flexometallic Tube.
RESULTS : Perioperative Period Was Uneventful
CONCLUSIONS : Management of a Patient With Anterior Mediastinal Mass Using Inhalational Agents As an Induction Agent as Well as for Maintaining Intra-Operatively Is a Better Choice. Using Inhalational Agent Surgery was Performed Successfully without any Complications
