A Case Of Spontaneous Hepatic Rupture In Pregnancy

ABSTRACT : spontaneous hepatic rupture is rare and life threateningemergency. It is usually associated with pregnancy but also occurs with other liver pathologies

METHODS : Emergency laparotomy was proceeded under general anaesthesia

RESULTS : patient was resuscitated and hemodynamic instability corrected and dopamine support started

CONCLUSIONS : Excision of SOL of liver done. Hemostasis secured. After elective postop ventilation patient was extubated.Postop period was uneventful
