ABSTRACT : To study if platelet transfusion is a reasonable way to improve coagulation quickly in patients on anti-platelet therapy prior to CNB in emergency.

METHODS : : Pre-operative platelet transfusion to improve coagulation quickly in patients on anti-platelet therapy prior to CNB in emergency.

RESULTS : We performed an uncomplicated Spinal Anaesthesia in an emergency patient on dual anti-platelet therapy following platelet transfusions successfully.

CONCLUSIONS : Platelet transfusion is a reasonable way to improve coagulation quickly in patients on anti-platelet therapy prior to CNB in emergency.
