Second scientific meeting was conducted on 27th Feb 2009, Our President Dr.A.Selvakumar Kingsly presided over the meeting. Dr.G.Anandakumar, Consultant Anaesthesiologist gave a lecture on ANAESTHESIA-IS IT A TIGHT ROPE WALK IN KANYAKUMARI DISTRICT. It was attended by 28 Anaesthesiologists and 8 doctors from other specialties.

Third scientific meeting was conducted on 28th March 2009. Our President Dr.A.Selvakumar Kingsly presided over the meeting. Dr.Ramachandran Madhavan. M.D., eminent faculty in Emergency Medicine gave a lecture on BIO-TERRORISM/BIO-WARFARE. It was attended by 24 Anaesthesiologist and 4 doctors from other specialties.

Our branch member Dr.J.Edward Johnson M.D., Asst. Professor.KGMCH, gave a guest lecture on MATERNAL COLLAPSE IN LABOUR-WARD at the NOGSI meeting conducted on 24-01-2009.
